Ten-year-old Ann is helping her father tend the Port Wilson Lighthouse. But there is someone else who lives at the lighthouse....a ghost. One stormy night, Ann is left alone to tend to the light. Now, she must find out if she can banish the ghost forever. .

While on vacation in Buenos Aires, Liz convinces her older sister Morgan to take a cemetery tour.  Liz hopes to see the cemetery spirit ghost, Rufina, but Morgan wants only to flirt with the cemetery tour guide, Marcus. As the sisters wander through the cemetery, Liz remembers her recently deceased grandmother who believed in ghosts and while searching for Rufina, Liz hopes that she and Morgan might connect about something other than boys and fashion.

"Hurricanes", a tween short story is published in Summer Shorts, Summer 2006. Blooming Tree Press.

Twelve-year-old Jen visits her Dad the first summer after her parent's divorce. As Jen struggles to define family and come to terms with the fact she now lives with her Mom and not her Dad, a hurricane hits the area. Will Jen be able to find a way back to family, even in a hurricane?
